Join Us - Guides

Guides are girls aged from 10 to 14 years. Guides enjoy themselves! They take part in indoor and outdoor activities and adventures that challenge them to do their best. Their meetings are action-packed and full of challenges, games and activities that the Guides have suggested themselves. Guides find their own level and do their best for themselves, and they always have fun doing it. Each Guide is a member of a Patrol. A Patrol plans and carries out its own activities with the support of the Guide Leader, so that each Guide has a role in deciding what they do.

We have a number of Guide units in Harpenden, Redbourn and the surrounding villages.

Flamstead	Tuesday	Registration of all new members is dealt with through the Girlguiding UK website. To register your daughter's name, please visit www.girlguiding.org.uk/interested and complete all the details required. You can select up to three different Guide units which you may be interested in joining. Girlguiding UK will then e-mail the leader of your first choice Guide unit and ask her to contact you within 21 days.   If your daughter is already a member of Girlguiding (as a Brownie or an existing Guide elsewhere), please talk with your unit leader about the best way to transfer to one of our Guide units.
